(a) applied for it in accordance with this Part;

(b) will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay under Division 2 of Part 9;

(c) meets the requirements of this Part;

(e) has been accepted to undertake a program of study at a designated learning institution.

What are the options after refusal? Can I appeal?
  1. New application – If you have reasons to believe and prove that your refusal is not justified in your opinion,
  2. Request for Reconsideration – In certain situations allowed, but not usually recommended as the officer has no obligation to do so,
  3. Appeal to federal court – Only if the immigration officer has made an error in law and/or fact. Generally, not possible and expensive. We suggest you start with a new application.

All 3 options suggest a possible next course of action.
